Today offers a truly special safari experience. Unlike traditional game drives, a guided walking safari allows you to connect with the wilderness on foot. Accompanied by an armed ranger, explore the park’s diverse habitats while observing giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and an abundance of birdlife.
Arusha National Park’s scenic beauty — including views of Mount Meru, forested slopes, and tranquil lakes — makes this a perfect gentle introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.
After breakfast, journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. Famous for its enormous elephant populations and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers spectacular wildlife viewing in a stunningly scenic setting.
Game drives reveal a variety of animals including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and countless bird species. The Tarangire River acts as a lifeline, attracting wildlife throughout the year.

4. Tented lodges are the most common type of accommodation in savannah. Many of them work on solar energy. This sometimes means bucket showers, limited wi-fi and no hair dryers, all in an effort to reduce environmental impact. We encourage you to do some basic research on the accommodations in your program to ensure the safari matches your travel style.
