Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your Tanzania Bucket List representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
Arusha is the safari capital of Northern Tanzania, nestled between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel, enjoy the gardens, or take an optional short city tour.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Arusha National Park, a hidden gem known for its diverse ecosystems.
Today’s highlight is a guided walking safari, offering a rare opportunity to explore the African bush on foot with an armed ranger. Encounter giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and various antelope species while enjoying spectacular views of Mount Meru. The park also features Momella Lakes, where flamingos gather seasonally.
Return to Arusha in the afternoon for relaxation.
Today you travel to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife.
This compact but scenic park features lush groundwater forests, open plains, and the alkaline Lake Manyara itself, home to flamingos and hippos. You may spot elephants, baboons, giraffes, and possibly elusive leopards.
Enjoy a full-day game drive before heading to your lodge near the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi, located south of the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Today offers a powerful cultural experience as you visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa. Learn about their traditional hunting techniques, language, and way of life. You may also meet the Datoga tribe, skilled blacksmiths known for their craftsmanship.
Return to your lodge for relaxation.
Today you explore the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including a descent into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.
Often called Africa’s “Garden of Eden,” the crater is one of the best places in Tanzania to see the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and hyenas within this unique volcanic caldera.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending to your lodge on the rim.
After breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds.
