Welcome to Tanzania. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Tanzania Bucket List will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.
Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit and sits at the foot of Mount Meru. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore the town at leisure.

After breakfast, depart for the remote and spectacular Lake Natron, located at the base of the active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai, known as the “Mountain of God” by the Maasai.
The drive takes you through dramatic Rift Valley landscapes, Maasai settlements, and vast open plains. Lake Natron is famous for its red-hued alkaline waters and as one of the most important breeding grounds for flamingos in East Africa.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk to nearby waterfalls or along the lake shore, where you can observe flamingos and take in breathtaking views.
Spend a full day exploring the unique ecosystem of Lake Natron. Early risers may opt for a sunrise walk along the lake, when flamingos and other birdlife are most active.
You may also visit a traditional Maasai boma to learn about local culture, livestock traditions, and daily life in this remote region. For adventurous travelers, a guided trek on the lower slopes of Ol Doinyo Lengai can be arranged.
This day offers incredible photography opportunities, dramatic volcanic scenery, and a deeper cultural connection with northern Tanzania.
After breakfast, travel toward the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the lively village of Mto wa Mbu, near Lake Manyara.
Mto wa Mbu is one of Tanzania’s most culturally diverse villages, home to over 120 tribes. Enjoy a guided village walk where you will visit local farms, banana plantations, artisan workshops, and small businesses. Learn about traditional farming techniques, Makonde wood carvings, and local cuisine.
A freshly prepared local lunch will be served in the village, giving you a true taste of Tanzanian hospitality.
Today you descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including a full-day game drive inside the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.
Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo, and the endangered black rhino. The diverse habitats—grasslands, swamps, forests, and soda lakes—support year-round wildlife viewing.
After your safari adventure, return to Arusha for your final evening in Tanzania.
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
